The method is highly versatile, agile and accurate.
The knowledge of 100% of thickness of super heater tubes is fundamental for the calculation of acting stresses in each point, and consequent calculation of life in fluency.
The technique is fundamental and very practical for tubes inspection of boilers furnaces regarding loss of localized thickness caused, for instance, by corrosion- under- deposits.
